About the Event
Virtus HQ & Holistic Hikes have joined health forces to bring you another Family day out in Nature!
Explore the very tip of the Mornington Peninsula in Point Nepean National Park, past the old Quarantine Station, World War Two military defences, along coastal and bush tracks. The 14.5km hike will explore war relics and rugged coastlines to Point Nepean taking in views of the Bellarine Peninsula.
With Bass Straight on one side & Port Philip Bay on the other, this approx. 4 hr return coastal walk is a great way to explore our history of the Mornington Peninsula. On route to Pt Nepean and the treacherous waters of the rip, we pass Cheviot Beach, a number of gun turrets & Fort Nepean. There’s plenty to explore on this epic coastal walk.
