The hike to Oberon Bay is a moderate graded overnight hike that allows you to experience the thrill of hike-in camping. The 7.6km hike into Oberon Bay tracks alongside the coastal outlook from Tidal River. Spend the afternoon walking the beautiful beaches and relax with the small group before returning along the same trail. Achievable for all levels, and a great introduction to lightweight camping even if you have never hiked before!
If you’ve ever wanted to head to the hills but didn’t know where to start, what to bring/buy or do it alone, this weekend is for you!!
The costs are inclusive of all food and hire provisions; cookware/dinnerware, tent hire, sleeping mat, Osprey packs, headlamps, and wet weather dry sacks.
Excludes: Clothes, sleeping bag, water bladder
All hikers are to carry their own packs and provisions. This is an empowering adventure where you learn the ropes of rewilding hiking trips.
