A day to immerse in nature and discover the therapeutic benefits of hiking before a nourishing seaside lunch and yoga workshop to wrap up the day.

About the Event
Coastal hiking, nourishing food, connection & feel-good yoga. A day of pure holistic immersion to energize body, mind, and spirit. Join us for a day of hiking along the sandy beaches and sheer cliff tops of Philips Island’s stunning Cape Woolamai.
This spectacular coastal trail takes in a variety of landscapes - beautiful beaches, the old granite quarry, a woodland teaming with butterflies and wildlife, uninterrupted views across Bass Strait, and the rugged impressive rock formations the Pinnacles. Spot wallabies, and echidnas, and keep an eye out for the burrows of the short-tailed shearwaters, an interesting migratory bird that nests on Cape Woolamai.
Watch surfers in action as we trek Woolamai Surf Beach and be inspired by the beauty of this breathtaking nature park. An easy-moderate graded hike, incorporating mindfulness and conversation with a slower pace to allow for connection and appreciation of the picturesque views & energy of the coastal panorama.
Approx 9km, the slow pace will see us complete the Cape Woolamai circuit in about 4 hours with breaks before we enjoy a seasonal lunch We will then enjoy a seasonal waterside lunch and share info on how to support holistic health with Nutrition. Enjoy nature-based sensory exercises and discover the benefits of spending time in nature for our mental and physical health.

Relax post-hike with Megan at Island Healing Studio in nearby Newhaven. Stretch out and explore your body with a feel-good yoga session infused with Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls to self-massage. Discover new ways to move better, breathe better and feel better in your body during this 2-hour yoga-inspired workshop.
9.15am Meet at Cleeland Bight Beach, end of Cottesloe Ave.
9:00 am Head off on our 9km Hike with Snacks provided midway
12:30pm Coastal Lunch
1.30pm Head off to Island Healing, Newhaven
2pm 2-hour yoga workshop run by Megan
4.15pm Tea & Nibbles & wrap up of the day
5pm Head off for an Island dinner or back home to unwind.
No hiking or yoga experience is required; however, a good level of fitness will ensure an enjoyable day. Bring your own water. Layers are best to be worn and shoes with good grip are recommended.
Facilities: Toilets at the carpark. Start/Finish
All-inclusive of lunch and snacks, attendees need only bring water.
