About the Event
Our hiking & yoga day is back!! We are excited to share once again our day retreat to explore through mindful hiking, nourishing seasonal menu and sink into a restorative yoga flow.
The morning starts with an easy-moderate graded hike from Merricks Station Grounds with a gentle incline through farmland and winery lined trails. The slower-paced hike incorporated mindfulness and nature therapy concepts designed to deepen your connection and calm the racing mind, taking in the undulating landscape with views to the Nobbies of Phillip Island.
The halfway mark meets the Red Hill shops as we stop for reflection and snacks before returning along the trail, gaining a different perspective. Learn how nature supports our mental and physical health and enjoy nature-based sensory exercises, relaxing into your environment.
Post-hike we return to the picturesque grounds of Silverleaf Yoga Studio where we enjoy a nourishing seasonal lunch under the gums before a roll and release workshop with Megan.
Stretch out and explore your body using Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls, yoga blocks, and self-massage infused with yoga. Zen out and discover new ways to ease tension and pain, improve posture and athletic performance as well as enhance muscle strength and flexibility during this 2-hour workshop.
Required: No hiking or yoga experience required, however, a good level of fitness will ensure this is enjoyable for all
Facilities: Toilets at both Merricks General Store and Red Hill Shops
All-inclusive of lunch and snacks, attendees need only bring water.
