About the Event

Stop looking and start seeing.

When we slow down and immerse ourselves through sensory awareness in Nature, we gain more clarity, perspective and feel more relaxed.

A habitual pattern in our modern lives is to rush from one thing to the next. A key element of mindful photography is present-time awareness.

Taking time to slow down, pause, and see with a fresh eye allows more space for creativity. To experience the textures, colours, and depth of field and consider the image you are about to capture, more mindfully.

How often do you snap an image and later reflect on how it didn’t capture the magic you felt when you experienced it? Or how you wish to recreate an image you have seen?

What if you had expert guidance and were taught how to capture these moments more mindfully?

Janis and I are excited to work in collaboration to bring you this very experience. An early evening slow-paced mindful hike to capture the mood of the setting sun over the iconic vistas of the Mornington Peninsula.

Learn about the therapeutic benefits of being in nature partnered with an expert in her field – Janis – a prominent Mornington Peninsula-based Photographer who will share her knowledge allowing you to develop your vision and capture space and feeling.

Join us as we take to the trails, cameras in hand to explore Nature through the lens with a dusk photoshoot that captures the essence of the golden glow sunset.

Offering informative expert tips on how to best capture the experience that nature provides.

Are you ready to start seeing?
